Comedian Park Na-rae has become the victim of a high-value theft, with losses reportedly in the tens of millions of won, adding to a string of unfortunate incidents in recent days. After facing backlash over remarks made during Jeon Hyun-moo and BoA's live drinking broadcast, Park has now been thrust into the spotlight again-this time as a victim. Her abrupt absence from a live radio broadcast on the same day the theft was reported has drawn heightened public interest over the timing and underlying circumstances.

Park's management confirmed the theft on April 8, stating in an official announcement, "It is true that a theft occurred, and Park became aware of it on the 7th." The incident took place at her luxury detached home located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The residence had been purchased for approximately 5.5 billion KRW (around $4 million) and has been previously featured on television and in online communities due to its lavish design.

While the exact value of the stolen goods has not been officially disclosed, it is believed to be in the range of tens of millions of won. Park has since filed a police report, and a formal investigation is now underway. Given that her residence has been showcased multiple times on broadcasts, authorities are paying close attention to how the intruder may have entered and moved throughout the home.

On the same day the theft was made public, Park Na-rae suddenly withdrew from her scheduled appearance on MBC Radio's "Son Tae-jin's Trot Radio." She had been expected to participate in the "Meeting Trot" segment, but her cancellation forced last-minute changes to the program. DJ Son Tae-jin informed listeners, "She was unfortunately unable to appear due to personal circumstances."

Her agency cited "health reasons" as the cause of her absence. However, speculation grew as her no-show followed closely on the heels of BoA's public apology, leading some to question whether the timing of these events was merely coincidental.

Fans have also raised concerns about the security of her home, which had been frequently showcased through programs like I Live Alone and her personal YouTube channel. The open floor plan, luxurious interior design, and collection of high-end art pieces had all been previously revealed to the public, potentially exposing the property to risk.

After the burglary, some fans voiced concern: "Maybe it was too exposed," and "I could basically understand the whole layout of her house from the videos." The incident has reignited debate over the dangers of celebrities revealing too much of their private lives in the public eye.
