As the legal battle heats up between the late Kim Sae-ron's family and actor Kim Soo-hyun over allegations of an underage relationship, the YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute (Gaseyeon) has released new messages in an effort to refute Kim's claims, intensifying the controversy.

On April 2, during a livestream, Gaseyeon claimed, "We completed forensic analysis on five phones, four laptops, and a tablet we recently found," before unveiling additional messages allegedly sent by Kim Sae-ron on April 13, 2018, when she was 17 years old.

According to the messages, Kim Sae-ron wrote to someone believed to be Kim Soo-hyun, saying: "When you need me, I'm always here, but when I need you, you're never there." She added, "It really bothers me when I can't reach you. If you're not going to try, I don't want to keep seeing you."

In another message, when the person suggested, "How about the day after tomorrow instead of tomorrow?" Kim replied, "Okay, the day after tomorrow. But if you don't respond tomorrow like today, I'll die. I'm waiting!!" In the same thread, she also sent him a photo of Kim Soo-hyun circulating online, responding to his message: "You look pretty. I went out today."

Gaseyeon also revealed that metadata confirmed the dates of several KakaoTalk messages - April 13 and May 16 of 2018 - along with additional photos allegedly of Kim Soo-hyun, dated April 10 and September 20 of 2017.

Meanwhile, according to legal sources on April 2, the Seoul Central District Court assigned the civil damage suit filed by Kim Soo-hyun to the Civil Division 14. The claim, filed on April 1, is valued at ₩120 billion, although it was initially reported as ₩110 billion.

The case stems from allegations raised by Kim Sae-ron's family via Gaseyeon, beginning on March 10, asserting that Kim and the late actress had been in a relationship from 2015 - when she was 15 - until 2021. They provided private messages and photos as evidence.

In response, Kim Soo-hyun held a press conference on March 31, publicly denying all allegations and disputing the authenticity of the materials presented by the family. The courtroom showdown is now set to determine the truth behind the explosive claims.
