Here's What JOOX Has To Say About The Rise Of K-pop Culture In Southeast Asia
In today’s music era, the fact of the K-pop music scene rising across Asia is undoubtedly significant. K-pop is a musical genre with songs produced and composed by multi-talented artists from South Korea.
According to Hellokpop, BLIP, an international viewership issuer of the K-pop clip, K-pop is among the most viewed and streamed genres in Southeast Asia. The figures show Indonesia and Thailand with a chart-topping 2.62 and 2.15 billion views each.
Moreover, in the released data of K-pop’s Creative Content Agency, it resulted that Southeast Asia as the continuing and rising market for K-pop finishing ate the third rank. South Korean music exports come after Japan and China, glazing to create music content and more with a sixty percent growth in just twenty-four months.

JOOX is one of the continent’s massive music streaming platform that has featured K-pop songs since its launch. IDOL STATION
‘IDOL STATION’ is a regular live stream program that gives prominence to the famous South Korean “oppas” from various members of this generation’s hottest and most sought K-pop boy groups.
The said show offers a much closer look at the Korean artists’ relationship with their fans through their personal stories and reality-show segments. Among of the boy groups who graced the show are SEVENTEEN, ONF, and Nu’est.
I-LAND
The show is co-run by Bang Si-Hyuk of Big Hit Entertainment, the agency responsible for BTS. ‘I-LAND’ aims to look and train aspiring K-pop idols who will vie for the spot with twenty-three other contestants [KProfiles].
JOOX allows the fans to vote for their picks and even grab the chance to win exclusive prizes. The show’s current season will end on July 31, followed by the second season’s premiere on August 14.
