The 31-year-old Korean-American singer Amy Lee, best known as Ailee, has released a cover of ABIR’s Tango on September 27 (Sunday). The cover was uploaded on Ailee’s official social media account and as well as to her Youtube channel.

Before Ailiee’s prominent debut, she had been uploading and posting cover videos, which his viewers love.

Furthermore, the cover video comes after eight years since Ailee made her way to the K-pop music scene. According to Hellokpop, the video shows Ailee donning a floral crop top with a light washed denim pant, making her look more girly and sweeter.

When it comes to singing, the singer flaunted off her signature sound at the beginning of the song, alongside the harmonization of her warm vocals, making her cover of ABIR’s track impressive. What the fans loved about Ailee’s covers is that it was arranged distinctly from its original version, highlighting her exceptional performance.

Adding sophistication to the cover video is the singer’s level of energy, as she was vibing and grooving softly to the track’s beat. Additionally, Ailee showed off her chilly and sultry facial expression. The singer also made sure to add special effects to the video when she sang the acapella-like part of the song.

A new album is on the way

On September 28 (Monday), Rocket 3 Entertainment, Ailee’s home management and recording label, confirmed through a statement, saying, “AILEE is making a comeback in the music industry on October 6. We are going to wet the public’s mind with a ballad that goes well with the autumn night.”

The upcoming album of Ailee will mark as her fifth extended play release, entitled I’m, with a title song called When We Were In Love. As mentioned above, I’m is set to arrive in various music streaming platform this coming October 6.
