BTS Performs 'IDOL' + Collaborates With The Roots For 'Dynamite' Video Performance
The much-awaited BTS WEEK of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon has officially begun on NBC!
According to Soompi, BTS WEEK set as the world's most phenomenal K-pop group to grace on the American late-night talk show for five consecutive nights, alongside five impressive performances. Aside from the performances, BTS will also be interviewed by the host, Jimmy Fallon, and will star on comedy segments.
IDOL Performance
On the first night of BTS WEEK that took place on September 28 (Monday), the international K-pop group performed it's 2018 major single, IDOL, in the renowned Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, South Kora.
The K-pop septet exuded its mesmerizing charms and fierceness as they grooved to the heart-thumping beat of IDOL.
Adding sophistication and uniqueness to the dazzling performance by BTS are the distinct dark outfits the group donned. Jin, Suga, J-hope, RM, Jungkook, V, and Jimin all looked like a blackbird ready to fly with its massive outfit helms.
What made the performance more fascinating is the makeup worn by each BTS member, the natural yet extravagant visuals of the group were given prominence. The spotlight and lightings were also one of the best, putting BTS the center of the attraction despite the majestic palace.
To the dismay of the fans, Nicki Minaj did not join BTS in the performance.
Dynamite Performance
American hip-hop band The Roots teamed up with BTS for a semi-orchestrated performance of Dynamite, alongside Jimmy Fallon.
The video performance shows BTS in colorful retro outfits while The Roots wore their signature black ensembles.
By the end of the video, BTS danced to the Dynamite's beat while showing off their intense visuals and sleek hairdos.
For the time being, BTS will unveil tons of performances for the rest of the week.
