BTS member Jin has illuminated global popularity with "Super Tuna" securing the No. 1 spot on iTunes in 47 countries. On August 6th, "Super Tuna" rose to the top spot on Malta's iTunes charts.

"Super Tuna," a song sincerely about fishing, captures Jin's wishes for a bountiful catch. It was initially previewed on December 4th, 2021, in honor of his birthday via BTS's official YouTube and SoundCloud channels. Later, it was officially released on all streaming platforms in October 2022.

Upon its release, "Super Tuna" rapidly clinched the top spots in countries like Lithuania, Finland, Malaysia, and Vietnam, achieving No. 1 in 39 countries. By December 13th of the previous year, it secured its 40th No. 1 in Guatemala and its 41st in Botswana on December 14th. Recently, it continued to dominate charts in countries like Ukraine, Portugal, the United Arab Emirates, and, as mentioned, Malta, marking a total victory in 47 nations. On these charts, "Super Tuna" has achieved No. 1 on iTunes Worldwide, 3rd in Europe, and 10th in the U.S.

The song's appeal lies in its refreshing and addictive melody, coupled with Jin's endearing expressions and captivating dance moves. Its cheerful and lively vibe, along with easy-to-follow choreography, has garnered explosive reactions, sparking a global challenge phenomenon.

The "Super Tuna Special Performance Video" released on the BTS YouTube channel, BANGTANTV, surpassed 10 million views in just one day, establishing itself as the most-watched video globally. As of 6 a.m. on August 7th, it continues to soar, having garnered over 87.64 million views.

Moreover, on the world's largest streaming platform, Spotify, it boasts a remarkable 50.21 million streams, achieving stellar results on various music charts.

Jin, before his military enlistment last October, gifted fans with the track "The Astronaut." Along with previously released tracks such as "Yours," "Tonight," "Moon," and of course, "Super Tuna," he has consistently shattered records on global music charts. This overwhelming success and popularity prove the unparalleled presence and powerful brand influence of Jin, solidifying his position as a top solo artist.
