South Korean plastic surgery clients have been increasingly requesting facial structures resembling K-pop idols BTS's Jin and Astro's Cha Eun Woo, according to leading plastic surgeon Dr. Choi Hyung.

Dr. Choi, a respected figure in the South Korean cosmetic surgery field, shared with K-health magazine that BTS' Jin and Astro's Cha Eun Woo continue to top the list of desired faces among male plastic surgery seekers in South Korea.

"Of late, what has caught my attention is the rising interest in under-eye fillers, not just among women but also men. In my practice, it's common to encounter men bringing in pictures of celebrities like BTS's Jin and Astro's Cha Eun Woo and enquiring about similar procedures," Dr. Choi was quoted as saying in an Allkpop English translation.

The surgical specialist further highlighted that the facial features of BTS's eldest member are among the most desired by male clients. As for actors, the face that clients most often aspire to recreate is that of singer-actor Cha Eun Woo.

BTS's Jin, currently serving in the military, was recognized as the "World's Most Perfect Male Face" by the Dutch visual arts team Sluis Painting in 2020, Koreaboo reported. Jin, whose real name is Kim Seok Jin, was evaluated alongside stars from 43 countries based on facial symmetry and dimensions.

Jin surpassed other top finalists, including British actor Henry Cavill and Australian actor Jacob Elordi. The Sluis Painting team used digital face mapping and mathematical analysis based on facial measurements to draw their conclusion. Using the golden ratio, they declared Jin's face as scientifically "almost perfect," owing to its symmetrical, ovular shape, proportionally sized ears, and perfectly spaced eyes.

Also, in 2020, plastic surgeon and TikToker Dr. Charles S. Lee reviewed Cha Eun Woo's facial features in a birthday video for his daughter. According to Lee, the South Korean actor and singer's face is "perfect," with flawless horizontal thirds, vertical fifths, and side profile measurements.

Lee humorously concluded his video, saying, "Any more people born like this, and I'm out of business."

This Wednesday, Cha Eun Woo mesmerized fans with unedited photos of him departing for Paris to attend Dior's Summer 2024 Men's Collection fashion show.
