Le Sserafim Triumphs Over Jisu and Aive to Claim #1 Spot on 'Inkigayo', as Aespa Stages a Comeback
Le Sserafim has captured the top spot.
On the May 14 episode of SBS's 'Inkigayo', Jisoo's 'Flower', IVE's 'I AM', and Le Sserafim's 'Unforgiven' were all contenders for the second week's top position of May.
Among these, it was Le Sserafim who secured the coveted #1 spot. Holding their trophy high, Le Sserafim stated, "We can hardly believe that we've won first place for the second consecutive week, we're so grateful." They added, "We always say 'Le Seraphim is one team.' We want to express our gratitude to all those working tirelessly behind the scenes for us."
Furthermore, they expressed their love for their fans, known as 'Bloom', who awarded them this precious honor. "Thank you to our 'Bloom'. We promise to work even harder in the future," they vowed.
The episode of 'Popular Songs' also featured various comeback performances. Particularly, Aespa showcased a dynamic and powerful stage, starting with their title track 'Spicy' and moving on to 'Thirsty'. The title track 'Spicy' is a standout dance song featuring a strong synth bass sound and dynamic beats. The performance captivated the audience with a key point move that symbolized dipping into a spicy sauce with fingers.
Other artists who graced the stage of 'Inkigayo' included Le Sserafim, Minmin, Blitzers, BAE173, BTOB, Sungmin, ICHILLIN', aespa, ADYA, AIMERS, Xdinary Heroes, ONEUS, Lee Mujin, Lee Chaeyeon, EPEX, and Jang Hyeri, each delivering their unique performances.
