NCT's Dojae Jung to Debut with 'Perfume,' Exploring Contrasting Emotions of Love
NCT's Dojae Jung is set to debut on April 17 with his first mini-album "Perfume," which will explore the contrasting emotions of love.
The new track "Aftermath (Can We Go Back)" from the album is an R&B song that calmly portrays the intense aftermath experienced by someone who longs to go back in time after their loved one has left. The emotional vocals and groovy guitar riff blend together to amplify the song's melancholic atmosphere.
Another new track, 'Kiss,' is a medium-tempo R&B song with a dreamy vibe. The lyrics, which use a kiss as a metaphor for the honest emotions of being deeply in love and unable to break free, captivate listeners' attention.
Additionally, a music film featuring Dojae Jung was released at midnight today (April 9) on NCT's YouTube channel. The film includes snippets of "Aftermath (Can We Go Back)" and "Kiss," showcasing episodes that bring the lyrics of both songs to life through storytelling and Dojae Jung's emotional acting. The high-quality visuals have been receiving positive reactions.
Meanwhile, NCT Dojae Jung's first mini-album "Perfume" will be released on various music platforms at 6 p.m. on April 17, along with its physical album release on the same day.
