Hwang Young-woong's Ex-Girlfriend Claims Physical Abuse: 'Kicked in the Stomach and Strangled on the Street'
The ex-girlfriend of Hwang Young-woong, who was once considered a winner through an audition program, opened up about the controversy surrounding him, saying, "I have been contacted a lot since many stories involving me have come out, causing me a lot of stress."
On the afternoon of the 30th, MBC's 'True Story Exploration' delved into the school violence and assault cases of Hwang Young-woong, who was mentioned as a winning candidate in 'Burning Trotman,' and met with people around him.
On that day, the ex-girlfriend testified about Hwang Young-woong, saying, "I was hit on the street. He kicked me in the stomach or strangled my neck."
In addition, the ex-girlfriend said, "During the time I was dating him, he grabbed the back of my head and pushed me against the wall." She added that when he drank alcohol and got angry, he couldn't control himself, shocking the audience.
On the other hand, elderly people who watched Hwang Young-woong during his school days in the same neighborhood said, "There were a lot of bullies in this neighborhood. It was really bad." However, they also expressed contrasting opinions, saying, "But don't teenagers have a rebellious phase? Hwang Young-woong is polite to adults. I've been watching him for a long time, and his character is not that bad."
