Watch: ‘More Than Friends’ Releases New Teaser Where Shin Ye Eun Promises To Wait For Ong Seong Wu
New preview released for the first episode of JTBC's "More Than Friends," starring Shin Ye Eun and Ong Seung Wu!
"More Than Friends" is an upcoming television series that tells about the two close friends who fall in love with one another over ten years. But due to misunderstandings, they remained friends. Starring Shin Ye Eun, who will play as Kyung Woo Yeon, a girl who decided to give up her one-sided love for her guy friend whom she loved since she was 18 years old and after a decade of pinning. She was a calligrapher.
At the beginning of the teaser, Kyung Woo Yeon promptly broke up with her boyfriend. Later on, she angrily vented out as she said how the guy could dump her on their 100th day as if she waited for their 100th day to leave her.
As she cried over her breakup, she commented in a voiceover, saying, "A curse where no one can love me. Excluding him, the one person," she referred to Lee Soo. She then asked Lee Soo why he always treats her well after receiving so much kindness from him. Lee Soo replied that because she keeps on catching his eyes.
Lee Soo surprised Kyung Woo Yeon with a stuffed animal toy for Christmas. She then asked him how did he get it. Lee Soo answered that he begged for it to confess his feelings to the person he likes.
Afterward, Kyung Woo Yeon is furiously running through an airport to catch into Lee Soo. She told him that even if he is halfway across the world, that is fine with her, even if they have a 12 hour time interval, that is still fine with her. And even if it takes years, she is confident enough; she can always wait for him.
The JTBC's drama "More Than Friends" is set to premiere on September 25 at 11 p.m. KST.
