The conflict between NewJeans and their agency Ador has taken a new turn. While ADOR has extended an offer to "discuss the future," the fanbase known as "Team Bunnies" has initiated action-reaching out to members' parents and completing legal consultations with multiple firms.

On March 25, Team Bunnies issued a statement via their official social media accounts, revealing that they had "contacted the members' parents and law firm Sejong following the court's injunction ruling announced on March 21."

They continued, "Over the past few days, we've consulted with four major law firms, three former high-ranking legal officials, a lawyer with 17 years of prosecution experience, and a former judge. After extensive discussions, we have now consolidated our position based on various expert opinions."

Despite the turmoil, the group emphasized their objective approach: "While the situation is undoubtedly difficult, we are examining it from an impartial perspective, independent of fandom bias. We've also finalized our future plans."

Earlier on March 21, the Seoul Central District Court's Civil Agreement Division 50 ruled in favor of Ador, granting an injunction against independent activities by NewJeans members Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein. The ruling prevents the members from engaging in solo contracts for advertisements, broadcasts, or music without Ador's consent.

However, on the same day, the members debuted a new song under the name "NJZ" at a fan meeting in Hong Kong, where they also sold official merchandise-prompting a fierce backlash.

In response, Ador issued a statement criticizing the move: "Despite the court's decision, the group pushed ahead with the performance. We regret such a unilateral declaration. The exclusive contract remains in effect."

Team Bunnies addressed fan confusion in their statement: "We are aware that many Bunnies are feeling unsettled. However, we are calmly organizing the facts beyond the fan perspective." The group also added that a detailed legal position paper addressing key legal issues is currently in preparation.

Full Statement from Team Bunnies:

Hello, this is Team Bunnies.

Following the announcement of the injunction ruling on March 21, Team Bunnies has been in contact with the members' parents and the law firm Sejong. Over the past several days, we have also met with four major law firms including Sejong, three former high-ranking legal officials, a current lawyer with 17 years of prosecutorial experience, and a former judge, engaging in in-depth discussions.

In order to assess the situation as objectively as possible and without bias from a fan's perspective, we sought a wide range of legal counsel and have since organized our position.

We fully understand that many Bunnies are currently confused and distressed. However, as mentioned above, we are conducting deep discussions with numerous legal experts, and Team Bunnies is also preparing a formal statement summarizing the major legal issues involved. Although this is a challenging time, we have completed thorough consultations and are prepared with future plans moving forward.

Thank you.
