After a week-long battle with COVID-19, Blackpink's Jisoo has been seen at Seoul Gimpo Business Aviation Center (SGBAC) on Friday, all set to rejoin her bandmates on the 'Born Pink' World Tour.

Just two days prior to her appearance at the SGBAC Airport, the 28-year-old K-pop sensation took to the Weverse platform to share her health status with her fans, commonly referred to as BLINKs. She comforted the anxious fandom with her positive message, saying, "BLINKs, what are you all doing? I'm all better now, and I'm healthy."

Sighted at the airport on Friday morning, Jisoo seemed ready and enthusiastic about her journey to Australia, the next stop on the Blackpink tour. She will be reuniting with Lisa, Jennie, and Rosé for the upcoming performances.

The news of Jisoo's recovery and her comeback to the tour is a relief for fans, especially after her recent health scare. She was diagnosed with COVID-19 on June 1, prompting her to miss the group's two-night concert in Japan, which was a cause of concern for BLINKs.

Jisoo's positive test for COVID-19 came as a shock, as she was only experiencing mild cold symptoms when she was diagnosed, as confirmed by YG Entertainment, Blackpink's managing agency. Despite being away, she constantly communicated with fans about her condition and recovery process.

On being asked by a fan on Weverse if she would be rejoining the tour and performing at the forthcoming concerts, Jisoo reassured, "Of course... I missed my Blinks so much." This affirmative response has stoked the fans' excitement for the upcoming concerts.

The singer has been riding a wave of success earlier this year, following the release of her solo track "Flower". The music video of the song accumulated an astonishing 40 million views and 4.8 million likes in just 24 hours of release, surpassing the original predictions and making it the most viewed and liked K-pop music video on YouTube within the first 24 hours at that time. In fact, "Flower" also grabbed the third position in the list of most viewed videos by a solo K-pop artist in the first 24 hours.

The much-awaited Blackpink performances featuring Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé are lined up in Australia from June 10 to 17, 2023.
