Heartfelt Apologies from BLACKPINK's Jisoo as COVID-19 Diagnosis Forces Absence from Osaka Concert
BLACKPINK member, Jisoo, has expressed her disappointment and regret due to her inability to attend the group's concert in Osaka, Japan, due to a COVID-19 diagnosis.
On the 3rd, Jisoo confessed, "I've been eagerly waiting for this moment to meet our BLINKs (fandom) in Osaka after almost three years, and it saddens and troubles me deeply to have to greet you in this way."
She continued, "I promised the fans who I met at the last fan-signing event in Osaka that I would definitely come and greet them, and it pains me that I can't keep that promise. I hope you all remember that I am always with BLINKs."
Adding to this, she said, "Even though I can't be there, please give strong support and energy to the members who will perform on stage with all their best. I hope BLINKs create many happy memories."
Jisoo ended her message by saying, "I will recover soon and visit you again in good health. Thank you for always cheering for me. I love you, BLINKs. Everyone, stay healthy and hope to see you soon. P.S. I miss the birthday party we had together."
Earlier on the 1st, YG Entertainment announced, "Jisoo had mild cold symptoms on May 30 and confirmed a negative result through a self-test. However, she received a final positive diagnosis today." They revealed that only three members, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé, would participate in the 'BORN PINK' world tour concert held in Osaka, Japan on the 3rd and 4th.
