Le Sserafim Triumphs at their Second 'KCON': A Special Collaboration with Local Fans
'K-pop top player' Le Sserafim has successfully completed their second 'KCON' stage since their debut.
Le Sserafim (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) performed on May 13 at 'KCON JAPAN 2023', held at Makuhari Messe in Japan.
The five members opened the performance with their title track 'UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers)' from their first full album, which has been gaining explosive popularity locally, including achieving a triple crown in the weekly ranking of the Japanese Oricon chart (dated May 15th). Le Sserafim heated the venue with their overwhelming performance and intense facial expressions. They also created a lively atmosphere that excited the audience during their performance of the B-side track 'No-Return (Into the unknown)', where they covered the entire concert hall and made eye contact with the audience while performing live.
A special event was held where dozens of local fans came on stage and performed 'ANTIFRAGILE' with the members. After the performance, the five members expressed their emotions, saying, "It feels like a stage that will be remembered for a long time. We hope it remains a good memory for the fans who stood on stage with us."
In addition, Kazuha, for the second year in a row, served as the special MC for 'KCON', impressing viewers worldwide with her excellent hosting skills, fluently switching between Korean and Japanese.
Meanwhile, Le Sserafim won first place on MBC's 'Show! Music Core' on the 13th with their new song 'UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers)'. They continued their winning streak by achieving a grand slam on music shows, following SBS M's 'The Show', MBC M's 'Show! Champion', Mnet's 'M Countdown', and KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank'.
