On April 12, Lee posted two lengthy messages on his social media accounts, addressing various rumors and accusations that have been circulating online since his marriage to actress Lee Da-in on April 7.

The couple's wedding drew considerable attention, with reports emerging about the wedding's performers, guests' fashion choices, and even an alleged product placement in the background of a video. Lee addressed each of these rumors, asserting that his wedding was held without any sponsorships and clarifying that his wife's tiara was not a sponsored product.

Lee also commented on a legal dispute with his former agency, Hook Entertainment, accusing the company of manipulating him in an attempt to control his career. Additionally, he addressed the rumors surrounding his wife's father, stating that accusations of stock manipulation and embezzlement were baseless and that the media outlet responsible had been unable to provide any evidence.

In his posts, Lee offered apologies to fans who may have been hurt by the flood of negative news and expressed gratitude for their support. He emphasized that he and his wife had chosen to marry not because of external pressure, but out of love, promising to "pay back" the support they have received together.

Regarding the couple's intention to donate all cash gifts received at their wedding to charity, Lee stated that they plan to use the funds to support underprivileged children. However, some have started to question the validity of their donation as well.
