Lee Seung-gi has clarified rumors surrounding his marriage to Lee Da-in.

On April 12, Lee Seung-gi posted a lengthy message on his personal SNS, addressing suspicions and gossip surrounding his marriage to Lee Da-in.

In the public post, Lee Seung-gi explained the rumors of stock manipulation and PPL suspicion in their wedding, stating, "I apologize to my fans who have cared for me. I heard that you've been hurt by the flood of articles due to my in-laws' issue. One fan even tried to stop my wedding because of this."

He expressed frustration as even close acquaintances advised him to break up with Lee Da-in, considering his image. Lee Seung-gi said, "My wife didn't choose her parents... How can I break up with her over her parents' issue?" showing his affection for Lee Da-in.

Continuing, he revealed, "Before and after our marriage, my wife Lee Da-in and I made a promise. We will live our lives repaying and helping others. We will take care of those in need and pay more attention to the more painful places. I will keep this resolution, regardless of the 'malicious comments.'"

Expressing gratitude to those who attended and congratulated them on their wedding, Lee Seung-gi shared that they decided to use the entire wedding gift money for a support fund for underprivileged children, believing it would be more meaningful.

Lee Seung-gi expressed his concerns, "I've been an entertainer for 20 years, and I've never spoken out with such emotions. Of course, there will be things to nitpick in this message. This post might become the starting point for more malicious articles."

Despite his fears, he stated that he gathered the courage to speak out due to the difficulties and hurtful comments that have followed since their relationship was revealed, their wedding, and even five days into their marriage.

In closing, Lee Seung-gi said, "I won't ask for your blessings for my marriage. Just watch over us. I will live sharing my life with Lee Da-in. That's what I believe is the best I can do."
