Singer and actor Lee Seung-gi and actress Lee Da-in (birth name: Lee Ra-yoon) have tied the knot after two years of publicly dating.

On April 7 at 6 PM, Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da-in held their wedding ceremony at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas Hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The ceremony was divided into two parts, hosted by comedians Yoo Jae-suk and Lee Soo-geun, respectively. Singer Lee Juck performed a congratulatory song. The private wedding ceremony was attended only by close relatives of both families.

In May 2021, the couple officially confirmed their romantic relationship, which began through a shared interest in golf. The couple faced many challenges, including break-up rumors just three months into their relationship, Lee Da-in's father's stock manipulation scandal, and a dispute between Lee Seung-gi and his former agency Hook Entertainment.

After a tumultuous year, Lee Seung-gi announced in February, "I have decided to spend the rest of my life with Lee Da-in, not as lovers, but as husband and wife." He expressed his feelings about proposing to Lee Da-in and receiving her acceptance, describing her as "the person I will be responsible for my entire life." He also emphasized that she is "a warm-hearted, loving person I want to keep by my side forever."

He added, "I want to share our joys together, and even when we face hardships, I want to overcome the trials without letting go of each other's hands."

Lee Da-in also shared her feelings through her agency, saying, "I am grateful to form a precious bond with Lee Seung-gi as dependable companions. I ask for your warm blessings and encouragement for our future together as lifelong partners."

By marrying Lee Da-in, Lee Seung-gi has become the son-in-law of actress Kyeon Mi-ri and brother-in-law of actress Lee Yu-bi. Kyeon Mi-ri expressed her feelings about welcoming Lee Seung-gi as a son-in-law in a past interview, praising him as a courageous, considerate, and energetic man.

Born in 1987, Lee Seung-gi is 36 years old this year, five years older than Lee Da-in. He debuted as a singer in 2004 with his first regular album, "Dream of a Moth," and has been loved for numerous hit songs. As a singer, he is scheduled to tour Asia starting in May.

He has also been active as an actor and entertainer, appearing in dramas such as "Shining Inheritance," "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho," "The King 2 Hearts," "Mouse," and "Love According to Law." He gained popularity as an MC in popular variety programs like "2 Days 1 Night" and "Sing Again." He is currently hosting JTBC's variety program "Peak Time" and has confirmed his appearance in SBS's "Strong Heart League."

Born in 1992, Lee Da-in made her debut in the 2014 drama "Twenty." She has since appeared in dramas such as "Hwarang," "My Golden Life," "Come and Hug Me," "Doctor Prisoner," and "Alice." She is set to appear in the upcoming MBC drama "Lovers" this year.
