Singer Hwang Young-Woong faces school violence accusations as former classmates come forward to share their stories.

On the March 30th broadcast of MBC's "True Story Exploration," the truth about Hwang Young-Woong's school violence controversy was investigated.

Hwang Young-Woong, who appeared on MBN's "Burning Trot Man," was considered a leading candidate to win the prize of 600 million KRW. However, behind the scenes, there were people who trembled with fear at the sight of Hwang.

After the school violence controversy, Hwang Young-Woong voluntarily stepped down from the show, revealing his feelings. However, many people still supported and defended him.

The "True Story Exploration" production team received criticism from Hwang Young-Woong's fans while trying to uncover the truth about his alleged school violence and dating violence.

Residents of Hwang Young-Woong's hometown defended him, saying, "Even 15 years ago, the kids from XX Middle School were bad. The mothers who knew Hwang Young-Woong said he was polite to adults. The neighborhood ladies all liked him."

According to online community posts, Hwang Young-Woong was a figure of fear, and a bully during his middle school years. One of Hwang's classmates revealed to the production crew, "He was like Son Myung-Oh in 'The Glory.' He mainly harassed friends who had disabilities or were struggling or lacking in some way."

Another classmate said, "There was a friend named XX in middle school, and Hwang taught him about sexual acts and made him do it in front of girls."

There were classmates who had their gaming consoles or cards taken away by Hwang. He lied to take them, and he also made them hand over their allowances several times. The reason Hwang could bully his friends was that he was part of a group of bullies.

A classmate with a fractured left collarbone said, "A tall, large man came. It was Hwang Young-Woong. He brought a long stick. It was terrifying. In a low voice, he said, 'Don't mess around anymore. If you tell your parents about this, I'll kill you.'" The teachers who had taught Hwang were no longer at the middle school.

Hwang Young-Woong's ex-girlfriend revealed in an interview, "I was hit even on the streets. He choked me and grabbed my hair, assaulting me. When he drinks and gets angry, he can't control himself."

Hwang Young-Woong, who has a record of injury, was revealed to have not apologized to the victim who received a settlement of 3 million KRW at the time.

The production crew tried to contact Hwang Young-Woong, but they couldn't reach him. Hwang didn't even check the message left by the crew.

A friend who claimed to be in contact with Hwang appeared to the production crew. Hwang Young-Woong's friend said, "Of course, people might see him as bad, as they say. There's another friend who harassed and extorted money," denying Hwang Young-Woong's school violence on his behalf.
