Allegations have surfaced that Hwang Yeong-woong, also known as 'Bul-trot,' fabricated his past experience of working in a factory.

On the 28th, entertainment critic Lee Jin-ho spoke about the controversy surrounding Hwang Yeong-woong in a YouTube live broadcast, stating, "I cannot bear it any longer. I have wrapped up the related issues in the public interest, but his fans keep spreading false information, leading the public to believe it's true."

MBC's 'True Story Expedition' is set to address Hwang Yeong-woong's school violence allegations in its broadcast on the 30th. Following the announcement, Hwang Yeong-woong's fandom flooded the show's message board with criticism. Some even targeted 'True Story Expedition' MC Shin Dong-yeob, who is unrelated to Hwang Yeong-woong.

Lee Jin-ho revealed, "The phone numbers of 'True Story Expedition' writers were leaked on Hwang Yeong-woong's fan cafe. The writers had to endure personal attacks and slander through calls and texts." He also suspected that the information of the writers who had contacted Woollim Entertainment, Hwang Yeong-woong's agency, had been leaked.

Hwang Yeong-woong's fans are demanding the release of personal information of the alleged victims, further victimizing them.

Angered by this, Lee Jin-ho emphasized, "Claims that Hwang Yeong-woong was poor, from a low-income background, and that his mother worked alone are all false. His father had the financial means to own an Equus. He ran a business selling studio apartments, and his mother runs a nursery."

Previously, Hwang Yeong-woong claimed to have diligently worked in a factory for six years. Lee Jin-ho revisited a photo of Hwang Yeong-woong wearing a factory uniform that was revealed on 'Burning Trotman.' He explained that insiders said Hwang Yeong-woong had briefly worked as a contract intern.

However, Lee Jin-ho countered, "It's important to note that he was not a regular employee. This company does not keep non-regular employees for more than two years. After two years, they must be converted to regular employees," adding, "The company said Hwang Yeong-woong has never worked there," debunking his six-year work claim.

Lee Jin-ho continued, "Subcontractors of this company also said that some of their employees wore such uniforms. However, everyone was puzzled by the claim that Hwang Yeong-woong had worked there for six years."

Meanwhile, Hwang Yeong-woong, who was a strong contender for the MBN's 'Burning Trotman' championship, faced various controversies, including assault, dating violence, and military violence. Initially, Hwang Yeong-woong's side admitted to being summarily indicted for assault in 2016, but appealed for a chance to "live a changed life as a better person." Despite ongoing negative public opinion, Hwang Yeong-woong decided to voluntarily withdraw just before the final round.
