Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Sejeong to star new romance drama this year!

On May 6, Sports Chosun reported that they found the female lead for the upcoming drama 'Office Blind Date,' Kim Sejeong.

In response to the report from Sports Chosun, Jellyfish Entertainment clarified that Kim Sejeong received an offer for her role as a lead star in 'Office Blind Date,' and she is currently reviewing it.

The upcoming drama 'Office Blind Date' is a romantic comedy that talks about an office employee who goes on a blind date. Kim Seojong was offered the role of Shin Ha Ri. Little did she know that it was her company's CEO in the place of a friend while hiding her true identity.

The story was first published in 2017 by the author Hae Hwa as a web novel. Moreover, it was produced into a webtoon in 2018. KakaoPage announced last August 2020 that they would be adapting the webtoon and web novel into a drama.

In March 2021, Ahn Hyo Seop is in talks for taking the male lead role as Kang Tae Mu. On the other hand, Jo Bo Ah is also considering the same role as Kim Sejeong.

Ahn Hyo Seop made his acting debut together with MBC's 'Splash Splash Love.' As he finds himself in the drama industry, he starred in 'Queen of the Ring,' 'Top Management,' 'My Father is Strange,' 'Dr. Romantic 2,' and 'Abyss.'

He last starred in a historical fantasy romance drama 'Hong Chun Gi' set in the Joseon era. The drama is also based on the novel of the same name by Jung Eun Gwol. He is also the author of the famous books 'The Moon Embracing the Sun' and 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal, ' adapted into hit dramas.
