The South Korean all-girl group, BLACKPINK, debuted in August 2016 and instantly captured fans worldwide. The K-pop quartet stormed over various music charts and broke records for its music and album releases, making them one of K-pop's pride.
BLACKPINK has numerously made history for K-pop and has dropped various music pieces, mesmerizing music videos, fashion trends, and has massively contributed to spreading the K-culture to the world.
For the time being, BLACKPINK is tagged as the highest-charting female K-pop group of all time, Hellokpop reported.

In a recent reveal, BLACKPINK is set to take its beloved BLINKS on each member's journey towards stardom. Helmed by Caroline Suh, BLACKPINK: LIGHT UP THE SKY will deliver a more personal approach to how Lisa, Rose, Jisoo, and Jennie rose to fame as YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK. Alongside the reveal, the K-pop group will take its fans to the behind-the-scenes happenings of its stunts.
Furthermore, the documentary will showcase the happenings of the group's world tours, and its Coachella stun, making them the first female Korean act to grace the music festival.
BLACKPINK's struggles
The upcoming BLACKPINK documentary will show the girls' leisure and festive scenes as they reach their success; it will also unveil their struggles as individuals and artists. However, each member's challenges and hindrances molded them into who they are right now, making it an instrument in achieving their end-goals.
Recently, the K-pop quartet dropped its latest album entitled THE ALBUM, alongside the music video for Lovesick Girls.
