Gong Yoo Features On The Latest Issue Of GQ + Talks About Life And Career
Gong Yoo participated in the latest issue of GQ and talked about his life and career.
After the classy and fantastic photoshoot, Gong Yoo talked about his love for the “classic” style. He said that he is becoming more and more nostalgic about some classical things. Not only in fashion, but in cars and furniture, saying that it is not until time passes that you know how amazing it would be.
Gong Yoo prefers basic and classic outfits to wear every day, rather than expensive and fancy ones. It is a natural appearance for his age.
Gong Yoo also tackled losing a lot of weight for his upcoming role in the movie “Seo Bok” with Park Bo Gum. He explained the reason why he wants to lose weight because he wanted to change his face.
In the movie, the character Ki Heon is not a healthy person, so Gong Yoo’s face should look a bit worn. He also worked out to make his face slimmer, and he gained more muscles.
In his movie, he plays the role of someone protecting the first human clone, Seo Bok. Park Bo Gum plays the role of Seo Bok, who has a sturdy frame but is not as delicate as they thought he is. So he kept that in mind, and he focused on getting bigger.
Lastly, Gong Yoo talked about keeping a positive mindset, and he added that he only lived half of his life, so he is cautious about saying that in the end, his projects represent the real Gong Yoo. In some ways, other people think that he has more than what he should be doing, but he does not have much.
When people see his usual self in some interviews, he thinks people give more credit than he deserves. Gong Yoo is not deep of a person, but since people think of him as a ray of sunshine, it drives him to become a much better person. (Via Soompi)
