Im Siwan Receives Offer As Lead Role In Upcoming Drama ‘Smartphone’
Im Siwan is in talks to star in a new film!
Star News reported on September 7 that Im Siwan and Kim Hee Won were in talks to lead the upcoming film "Smartphone" (working title).
More reports shared that a source from Im Siwan's agency, Plum Actors, confirmed that Im Siwan had received the offer to star in the film "Smartphone," Currently, the actor is reviewing the proposal.
According to Soompi, "Smartphone," directed by Kim Tae Joon, will be a thriller that unfolds after an ordinary office worker who loses his smartphone. If ever Im Siwan will accept the offer, he will be playing the office worker while, reportedly, Kim Hee Won will be starring as the detective who tracks the case.
Im Si Hwan
Im Si Hwa currently has many projects lined up, including the films "Boston 1947" and "Declaration of Emergency" (LT) and an upcoming JTBC drama. After the actor's military discharge in March, he immediately got back to work and appeared in the drama "Strangers from Hell." In his interview with Bis Issue magazine that he was preparing for his role in "Boston 1947" by searching deep about his new role, and with that, he was able to create a character without limitations.
