Group NewJeans has secured its dominance over South Korea's major music sites' weekly charts for the fifth consecutive week.

NewJeans, comprising members Minji, Hani, Daniel, Haerin, and Hyein, has clinched the top two spots on the weekly charts of Melon, Genie, and Bugs (covering the period from August 7 to 13) with the title songs "Super Shy" and "ETA" from their second mini-album 'Get Up'. On Melon, "Super Shy" retained the top position for five weeks in a row, with "ETA" following at number two. Conversely, "ETA" secured the top spot on Genie and Bugs, with "Super Shy" in second place.

Notably, "Super Shy" achieved an 'all-kill' on real-time and daily charts of major domestic music sites as soon as it was released on July 7. It has been on a popular run, sweeping weekly charts and July's monthly charts.

Adding to this success, another title track, "ETA," released with the album on July 21, has been on a hot streak, maintaining its popularity alongside "Super Shy." "ETA" has held the number one position on Bugs for three consecutive weeks and finally reached number one on Genie's weekly chart this week.

Tracks from the mini-album also feature across the weekly charts of the three music sites. Bugs has "New Jeans" (4th), "Cool With You" (6th), "ASAP" (18th), while Melon has "New Jeans" (10th), "Cool With You" (16th), "ASAP" (38th), "Get Up" (77th), and Genie has "New Jeans" (12th), "Cool With You" (29th), "ASAP" (62nd), all receiving love.

NewJeans has been gaining steady popularity not only in South Korea but also internationally.

"Super Shy" charted at number 63 on the UK Official Singles 'Top 100', charting for five consecutive weeks. The song initially entered the chart at 59th place (dated July 14) and reached a peak position of 52nd on July 28.

On the album chart, 'Get Up' has remained at 58th place for three weeks. 'Get Up' debuted at 15th place (dated July 28) on this chart, marking the second-highest entry for a K-pop girl group in the UK Official Album Chart's history.

Earlier, NewJeans reached the top of the U.S. Billboard Main Album Chart 'Billboard 200' (dated August 5) with 'Get Up' and placed three of the album's title songs on the Main Song Chart 'Hot 100', proving their explosive global growth. The latest chart (dated August 12) also saw 'Get Up' in 6th place on 'Billboard 200' for the second consecutive week in the 'Top 10'. "Super Shy," which peaked at 48th place (dated August 5) on 'Hot 100', charted for the fourth consecutive week at 77th place.

NewJeans is scheduled to perform at 'Summer Sonic 2023' in Tokyo, Japan, on August 19.
