BTS Jungkook's 'Still With You' Tops iTunes in 80 Countries Within 15 Hours of Release, Peaks at 31 on Melon Top 100, Evidencing Global Popularity
BTS's Jungkook's self-composed song 'Still With You' has soared to number one on iTunes in 80 countries, demonstrating his global popularity. On July 3rd, Jungkook released his self-composed and solo songs 'Still With You' and 'My You' through various music platforms worldwide.
As of 3:50 AM on July 4th (Korean Time), 'Still With You' had claimed the top spot on the iTunes Top Songs chart in 80 countries, approximately 15 hours after its release on the global music platform.
'Still With You' sprinted in popularity, achieving the number one spot on the iTunes Top Songs chart in 30 countries approximately 2 hours after release, in 50 countries after about 4 hours, and in 70 countries just 8 hours post-release.
'Still With You' had been previously released for free in 2020. Despite being a Korean song, it showcased overwhelming popularity and streaming power, sweeping the top spots on charts across the world. On the domestic music platform Melon, 'Still With You' debuted at number 74 on the main chart, Top 100, just one hour after release on July 3rd at 2 PM and recorded its highest ranking at number 31 by midnight on July 4th.
'Still With You' and 'My You' ranked first and second, respectively, on the Melon Hot Track Search Popular Songs Chart. Keywords such as 'Jungkook,' 'Still With You,' 'Jungkook My You,' and 'My You' also topped the popular search words from first to fourth, demonstrating robust domestic popularity. The songs also achieved their highest peak rankings on Bugs and Genie real-time charts at 16th and 69th places, respectively.
'Still With You' begins with the sound of lonely rain, followed by a rhythmical jazz-like melody. With Jungkook's sweet yet poignant voice and strong appeal, along with a deep sense of soul, it leaves a lasting resonance and aftertaste.
Meanwhile, Jungkook is set to officially kick off his first solo activities by releasing the audio and music video of his new digital single 'Seven' on July 14th at 1 PM.
