(G)I-DLE Scores No. 2 on Billboard's 'Hot Trending Songs Powered by Twitter'
South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE has seized the No. 2 spot on the American Billboard chart, 'Hot Trending Songs Powered by Twitter'.
According to the official Billboard website, 'Allergy', a track from (G)I-DLE's 6th mini-album, for which they released a music video preview on May 10th, made it to the upper ranks of the 'Hot Trending Songs Powered by Twitter' chart.
'Allergy' was unveiled ahead of the release of the mini 6th album 'I feel' and its title track 'Queencard' on May 15th, and it has attracted significant attention since.
The new songs 'Queencard' and 'Allergy' from (G)I-DLE topped the real-time charts of domestic music streaming sites like Melon, Genie, Bugs, Vibe, and Flo upon release. Furthermore, the new album 'I feel' continues its record-breaking run, surpassing 870,000 copies sold as of the 19th, following an impressive achievement of 1.1 million pre-orders, marking a new personal best for the group.
