Le Sserafim Drops 'UNFORGIVEN' Performance MV, Igniting Explosive Popularity
Le Sserafim has released an additional performance music video for their latest song.
Le Sserafim (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazaha, Hong Eunchae) posted a video titled 'UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers) M/V (Choreography ver.) for FEAR NOT' on HYBE LABELS' YouTube channel at midnight on the 18th. This video, set against the backdrop of a mysterious set draped in white cloth, intensely showcases Le Sserafim's performance. With the release of two performance music videos for this activity, Le Sserafim has flaunted the majesty of being the 'ultimate girl group performance'.
The members captivated viewers with their perfectly executed choreography, including a dance move that involves bending at the waist at a 90-degree angle and dramatically crawling on the floor on their knees. Additionally, the constantly changing expressions of the five members, in line with the lyrics such as, "I've never wanted any forgiveness / I'm aiming at the taboo," and "Our names left above the limit," increased the immersion in the song, paired with their wounded makeup.
In appreciation of 'FEAR NOT' (fandom name), which has been a great strength for the activities of their first full-length album 'UNFORGIVEN', Le Sserafim decided to release an additional performance music video ahead of their third-week music show activities.
Furthermore, the title track's point choreography, the 'Villain Rabbit' dance, has been receiving massive responses on the global short-form mobile video platform TikTok. As of 7 a.m. today, the total views of videos shared with the hashtag '#UNFORGIVEN' on TikTok reached nearly 600 million, boasting a popularity akin to a whirlwind.
In the meantime, Le Sserafim has demonstrated their status as a 'K-pop Top Player' by entering a total of 11 categories in the latest U.S. Billboard chart (dated May 20). Their first full album 'UNFORGIVEN' entered the main album chart 'Billboard 200' at No.6, setting the fastest record for a K-pop girl group to enter the 'Top 10'.
