FIFTY FIFTY Makes History: 'CUPID' Holds Billboard Hot 100 for 8 Weeks, Ties with K-Pop Girl Group Record
The hit song 'CUPID' by girl group FIFTY FIFTY has successfully maintained its position on the US Billboard's main singles chart, the 'Hot 100,' for the 8th consecutive week, placing at number 17.
According to the latest chart released on the 16th (local time), the song has moved up two spots from the previous week.
Their label, Attract, explained that "the 8-week run on the 'Hot 100' ties the record set by BLACKPINK in 2020 with 'ICE CREAM,' a collaboration with Selena Gomez, marking the longest stay for a K-pop girl group."
In addition to this, FIFTY FIFTY has also placed 8th on 'Streaming Songs,' 2nd on 'World Digital Song Sales,' 10th on 'Digital Song Sales,' and 58th on 'Artist 100.'
They have also achieved 2nd place on 'Global 200' (excluding the US) and 3rd place on the 'Global 200.'
Meanwhile, 'D-DAY,' the first official solo album announced by Suga of the group BTS, has entered the Billboard's main album chart, 'Billboard 200,' at 36th place for the 3rd consecutive week.
'D-DAY' also ranked 3rd on 'World Albums,' 5th on 'Top Album Sales' and 'Top Current Album,' and 8th on 'Top Rap Album.' The title song 'Haegum' ranked 8th on 'World Digital Song Sales' and 142nd on 'Global' (excluding the US).
The first official solo album 'FACE' by member Jimin ranked 7th on 'World Albums,' 30th on 'Top Current Album,' and 46th on 'Top Album Sales.' The title song 'Like Crazy' was ranked 3rd on 'World Digital Song Sales,' 27th on 'Global' (excluding the US), 37th on 'Global 200,' and 34th on 'Digital Song Sales.'
