According to a News1 report on the 16th, Fifty Fifty will be expanding into the music industries of the US and UK this coming July.
To prepare for Fifty Fifty's US debut, Attract's CEO, Jeon Hong-jun, will depart for the US on the 18th. CEO Jeon aims to finalize the local label, agency, and management contracts for Fifty Fifty during this trip. Recently, Fifty Fifty has entered into a partnership with Warner Records.
CEO Jeon will stay in the US until early June to finalize Fifty Fifty's local contracts, prepare promotions, and coordinate schedules such as radio appearances.
Subsequently, from July, Fifty Fifty will commence full-scale activities in the US and UK, further strengthening their global firepower.
CEO Jeon told News1, "Fifty Fifty is taking its first step to grow into a global IP. The results are astounding, hard to believe that this is only three months after their comeback. It's the result of the hard work of all the staff and members."
Meanwhile, Fifty Fifty has been making notable strides in global charts such as the Billboard charts with their first single 'Cupid', released on February 24th. According to the Billboard chart on the 20th of this month, 'Cupid' ranked 2nd in Billboard Global 200 (Excl. U.S.) and 3rd in Global 200. Thus, Fifty Fifty has written the second-best record in both charts, following BLACKPINK among K-pop girl groups who have topped both charts.
Previously, on the 13th, Fifty Fifty's 'Cupid' jumped 22 spots from 41st to 19th on Billboard's main single chart 'Hot 100', setting a record for a seventh consecutive week on the chart. The 19th spot on Billboard's 'Hot 100' is the highest record set by a K-pop girl group's solo song.
