TXT's 'The Name of the Game: TEMPTATION' Ties Personal Record with 14 Consecutive Weeks on Billboard 200
The group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) has tied their personal record for the longest stay on the US Billboard main chart with their fifth mini-album, "The Name of the Game: TEMPTATION."
According to the latest chart (dated May 13) announced by US music specialist Billboard on the 9th (local time), TXT's 'The Name of the Game: TEMPTATION' ranked 190th on the 'Billboard 200' chart. With this achievement, the album has maintained its chart presence for 14 consecutive weeks, marking the longest stay on the 'Billboard 200' chart for any K-pop group album released this year.
In particular, "The Name of the Game: TEMPTATION" has tied TXT's personal record for the longest chart stay (14 weeks) with their fourth mini-album 'minisode 2: Thursday's Child,' released in May last year. The album, which debuted at No. 1 on the 'Billboard 200' chart dated February 11, has consistently ranked in the 'Top 10' for three consecutive weeks and the 'Top 100' for 11 consecutive weeks, raising expectations for breaking their personal record.
"The Name of the Game: TEMPTATION" also saw a resurgence on the 'Top Album Sales' chart and 'Top Current Album Sales' chart, ranking 11th on both, and placed 6th on the "World Albums" chart. TXT re-entered the "Artist 100" chart at No. 83.
Meanwhile, TXT, who kicked off their 'TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR 'ACT: SWEET MIRAGE' IN U.S.' in Charlotte on May 6th, will continue the heat of their world tour in six cities across the US, including Belmont Park, Washington D.C., Duluth, San Antonio, and Los Angeles. They are set to appear as headliners at the major US music festival 'Lollapalooza' on August 5th.
