Jung Chae Yul's Untimely Death In a statement to MK News, translated by Koreaboo, Management S announced the heartbreaking news, saying, "Actress Chaeyul has left us." The agency also mentioned that a private funeral would be held in accordance with her family's wishes. They asked for prayers so that "Chaeyul, who was also sincere in her acting, may rest in peace."
In an interview with OSEN, via The Independent, the CEO of Jung Chae Yul's agency praised the late actress for her dedication and hard work, stating, "Our Chae-Yul was very hardworking. She was a deep-hearted and cool friend. In my opinion, it is hard to describe in words how amazing she was as an actress."
Jung Chae Yul's Career Born on September 4, 1996, Jung Chae Yul started making a name for herself in 2016 with the show Devil's Runway. She gained recognition as both a model and actress, represented by Esteem Entertainment throughout her career. Her breakthrough role came in the 2020 K-drama Zombie Detective. Additionally, she appeared on the big screen in the 2018 film Deep.
Before her death, Jung Chae Yul was in the midst of filming the new K-drama Wedding Impossible. As reported by Star News, via SportsKeeda, the show's production has temporarily halted as producers assess the situation.
Fans Pay Tribute on Social Media Fans of the late actress have taken to her social media accounts to express their condolences and admiration for her work. Her last post, featuring her sitting on the floor wearing headphones and holding a glass, has been flooded with heartfelt messages.
One fan wrote, "Now I believe that you receive messages from all languages and you can understand from up there. Heaven is celebrating your arrival... Unfortunately, you lived in a country where they demand a perfection that does not exist. But I wanted you to know that you were the best person you could be. May you rest in peace."
