Fans Celebrate Second Anniversary Of BTS V's Track 'Scenery' Through Generous Acts
Two years ago, on January 30, 2019, BTS member V released his self-composed ballad, Scenery, on SoundCloud as a gift for his fans. With the song's captivating tune, heartfelt lyrics, and V's enchanting voice, it immediately broke many records within just two years after its release.
On Soundcloud, the song became the fastest song to reach 100M streams. Also, it became the most-liked and most-streamed song in the first 24hrs.
Fans Celebrate The Second Year Of 'Scenery'
The success of V's track, as what fans believe, is through the beauty of the song. V's intricate craft was blended with his passionate love for art and photography. The idol's passion for music was also laid out as a somewhat musically picturesque scenery of his youth and preserved it through the beautiful notes.
And here comes the incredibly supportive fans of the marvelous V celebrating the 2nd anniversary of the idol's track by being generous as ever.
V's fans organized many projects to speak their idol's rare quality of being kind. They helped visually impaired people and targeted organizations dedicated to eradicating preventable Vision Loss and looking after people who have defects in vision.
The Helen Keller Intl and B.L.I.N.D Inc. became recipients of the aid from V's fanbases.
Taehyung's Fans Pouring Out More Donations
The organization that provides guide dogs also received a very thoughtful donation.
Notedly, V's fanbases are not the only ones who stepped on to provide help. In the goal to celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of V's most-streamed song on SoundCloud in a meaningful way, individual fans also rose to the occasion.
Furthermore, V's elementary school in Geochang established a scholarship through the aid of a Korean fan who donated 1,000,000 won ($900) in his name. Another fan also gave another donation to reunite child soldiers with their families.
Moreover, the Chile fans of Taehyung financed potable water filters to prevent diseases caused by drinking dirty and polluted water to address Chile's rattled lives caused by the pandemic.
Meanwhile, V's fans also took to Twitter to congratulate V on his song's success, apart from the generous donations. With around 247k tweets, the hashtag #2YearsWithScenery trended at No. 1 Worldwide along with related topics.
