Golden Child's Bomin And Shin Ye Eun Rumored To Step Down As MCs Of 'Music Bank'
Golden Boy's Bomin and actress Shin Ye Eun are allegedly in talks to step down as MCs of "Music Bank."
The charismatic duo Shin Ye Eun and Bomin are currently hosting the awards show "Music Bank." The stars of the hit web drama "A-TEEN" season 2 are remarkably known for their chemistry and playfulness as MCs. However, on July 15, SPOTV News reported that Shin Ye Eun and Bomin would be stepping down from their host roles on July 17, 2020.
According to Koreaboo, there are speculations that the duo will be quitting because of personal reasons. Bomin will be focusing on his promotions with "Golden Child" on their latest release of "ONE," as well as his upcoming role in JBTC's drama "18 Again."
Meanwhile, Shin Ye Eun will be focusing her acting career after her successful portrayal as a rookie actress in "Welcome." She is also preparing for her upcoming appearance in a new drama, "Number of Times Friends Become Lovers."
Meanwhile, with the spreading speculations about the magnetic pair's plans, a representative from KBS' "Music Bank" made a statement for clarifications. They said that it is true that there is an ongoing discussion with Shin Ye Eun and Bomin regarding their plans for leaving their MC roles in the show. On July 2, 2019, KBS revealed that Golden Child's Bomin and the actress Shin Ye Eun were the new personalities to host "Music Bank." The two were introduced on the show after Choi Won Myeong and Lovelyz's Kei's departure as former MCs.
"Music Bank" is a long time running music chart show in KBS that airs every Friday where various Kpop artist guests on the show to showcase their new music releases and dance moves. It is a concert that you can watch comfortably inside your homes.
