BTS Defeats BLACKPINK For December's Brand Rankings For Kpop Groups
The Bangtan Boys successfully defended its throne in the brand rankings for December. RM, Jungkook, Jimin, V, J-Hope, Suga, and Jin successfully defeated other supergroups such as BLACKPINK, NCT, SEVENTEEN, and (G)I-DLE.
Dating November 26 to December 26, big data were analyzed through the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various idol groups to achieve the rankings. The Korean Business Research Institute was tasked to release the month's idol groups' scores and rankings.

Scoring a brand reputation index of 18,972,090, BTS successfully defended their position at the top of the list this month. From their score last November, the Bangtan Boys marks a 12.54 percent increase in their score.
In the keyword analysis of BTS, their high-ranking phrases included Dynamite, YouTube, and Billboard, while award, congratulate, and release are the group's highest-ranking related terms.
Furthermore, a score of 85.02 percent positive reactions was recorded in the group's positivity-negativity analysis.
The Famous Four Rekindles Fire
Although BLACKPINK could not take the first spot, it still impressively managed to make a remarkable leap from the brand rankings last November. The number 4 last month rose to second place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 8,401,874. The quartet marked an impressive 53.20 percent rise in their score since November.
Moreover, NCT remains on its spot from last month's brand rankings. The 23-member group achieved a brand reputation index of 7,985,896, marking a 29.53 percent increase in their score since the previous month.
Meanwhile, taking the sixth to tenth place in the rankings are IZ*ONE, TWICE, Oh My Girl, MAMAMOO, and EXO.
