South Korean Actor Gong Yoo gets candid as he graces the cover of GQ Korea. Gong Yoo also shared his thoughts on selecting his next movie project.
Gong Yoo will appear in a much-anticipated film with Korean actor Park Bo Gum this coming December. With fans always expecting him to portray quality-based movies, he shared some details on his previous works and the future projects he would like to get as he explores the film industry's world. As Gong Yoo reaches different milestones with his age, he now only selects the best out of many proposals he receives. Gong Yoo also added how much he gets anxious about whatever people say in the past, as he was scared of how people may perceive him as an artist.
An upcoming film titled 'Seobok' Gong Yoo appears in the movie with another Korean artist, Park Bo Gum.
Gong Yoo has also been confirmed to participate in a Netflix film, 'Sea of Silence.' Fans are starting to notice how Gong Yoo appears in movies and dramas that are widely successful afterward.
Gong Yoo shared that it's not about the outcome, but he ultimately would like to achieve something that purely reflects his mind and emotions as an actor.
With his 20th anniversary in the industry next year, Gong Yoo made himself a name and an image in a positive way as he portrays characters from 'Train To Busan,' 'Goblin,' 'Coffee Prince,' and more iconic projects while receiving praise and respect for his job.
Furthermore, he shared that 'compassion' is his starting point to which he includes himself when it comes to his filmography. Gong Yoo believed that with 'compassion' for one another, humanity would be restored. One thing he learned from filming Goblin.
When asked about the dreams or goals he would still love to pursue, he revealed that he wanted to establish a restaurant in Jeju Island soon.
