Shin Hye Sun And Kim Jung Hyun Attend First Script Reading For 'No Touch Princess'
The upcoming tvN drama No Touch Princess has unveiled the casts' first look at the script reading!
The drama was previously introduced as Queen Cheorin. No Touch Princess is a historical fusion drama that will deliver a story of a man living in modern times whose soul gets trapped in a queen's body from the Joseon Dynasty.
Director Yoon Sung Sik and writers Park Gye Ok and Choi Ah Il are present during the script reading. Along with them are actors Shin Hye Sun, Kim Jung Hyun, Bae Jong Ok, Kim Tae Woo, Na In Woo, Kim In Kwon, Yoo Min Kyu, and Jo Sun Joo. Also, it stars Cha Jung Hwa, Song Min Hyung, Go In Bum, and Jeon Bae Soo.
Shin Hye Sun marks this drama as her first historical drama role. She will be playing as the titular queen named Kim So Yong, with a modern man's soul. Her character as a man was named Jang Bong Hwan. He was also a chef working in the Blue House, the South Korean presidential residence.
Kim Jung Hyun plays another notable role. He will become King Cheoljong in the drama, who appears to be a weak and easily manipulated figurehead on the surface. However, he has a hidden short and robust side.
Queen Sunwon will be played by Bae Jong Ok. She raised King Cheoljong to his current position, which proves her real power behind the throne. Also, the character Kim Jwa Geun will be played by Kim Tae Woo. He is Queen Sunwon's younger brother. He will become one of the keys to the queen's power.
According to the source of the drama, "In expressing their characters' charms, this meeting of actors brought this unique fusion historical comedy to life."
They also revealed that there would be lots of laughs, romantic excitement, and political thrills in the upcoming drama.
