Cha Eun Woo, Moon Ga Young, And Hwang In Yeob Exhibit Explosive Synergy In First Script Reading Of 'True Beauty'
The self-esteem-building romantic comedy-drama of tvN, True Beauty, has released its first script reading photos on October 12. The drama will be giving colors to households every Wednesday-Thursday.
The Story About Redefining One's Self
True Beauty follows the characters Joo Kyung (played by Moon Ga Young), who uses makeup to battle insecurities about her appearance. She then meets Su Ho (played by ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo), who has wounds of his own. Together, they grow as they share their secrets.
The drama features Moon Ga Young, Cha Eun Woo, and Hwang In Yeob, and it is based on a popular webtoon of the same name. Producer Kim Sang Hyub would be directing the show who was recognized for his work on Extraordinary You.
The Grateful And Talented Cast
Park Yoo Na, Park Ho San, Im Se Mi, Jang Hye Jin, Kim Min Ki, Oh Eui Sik, Park Hyun Jung, and Kim Byung Choon were present during the script reading. The actors sported explosive synergy even though it was only their first reading. The cast exhibited their passionate performances and perfect chemistry during the event.
Before the script-reading, Moon Ga Young promised that she would work hard to make the drama an exciting project until the end. She also stated how much of an honor it is to do with the cast of the show. With the positive energy she brought to her character, Im Joo Kyung, everyone was charmed by her determination.
With Cha Eun-woo wishes everyone to stay healthy and happy throughout the filming, added to the room's heartening mood. He then immersed in the script and wholly transitioned into his character Lee Su Ho. The actor could pull off the cold demeanor of his name with glaring eyes and blunt speech.
Playing the character of Han Seo Joon is Hwang In Yeob. With his low voice, he instantly caught everyone's attention.
During the script-reading, all the actors who participated played into their characters exceptionally well.
What The Director And The Production Team Has To Say
After the script-reading, Director Kim Sang Hyub commented that the process had helped him get a clearer picture of the drama in his head. After seeing how well the actors took on their characters, he added that he was looking forward to filming because they made it more interesting than expected.
Kim Sang Hyub promised to work on making the shooting process fun and exciting for everyone. With his words, he was applauded by those at the reading.
As per the production team, the fun script reading was so fun that we lost track of time. They also added that through this reading, they confirmed the chemistry between Moon Ga Young, Cha Eun Woo, and Hwang In Yeob and the rest of the cast.
The highly-anticipated drama True Beauty is scheduled to air its first episode in December.
