Im Dayoung of Cosmic Girls is confirmed to make her acting debut in the upcoming drama 'Love Revolution' that is set to air in the second half of the year.

‘Love Revolution’ is a drama adaptation from the popular webtoon of the same name. The main leads of the upcoming drama are Wanna One’s Park JiHoon and rookie actress Lee RuBy, who will be starring as the main lead for the first time.
Other supporting characters include THE BOYZ's YoungHoon and of course, Dayoung. Both will be acting for the first time and fans are cheering for them to do well.
The story is about a pure and full of ‘aegyo’ male high school student named Gong Joo Young (played by Park Ji Hoon) crushing on the school's cold and pretty girl, Wang Ja Rim (played by Lee RuBy).
It was recently reported that the casts have already started shooting some scenes. The main leads were seen filming on the streets one time and it got the fans of the webtoon speculating which scene from the webtoon they were filming, exciting them even more for the adaptation.
Meanwhile, Dayoung recently expressed her feelings regarding their latest comeback with her group Cosmic Girls. She stated that they got teary during their showcase for their title track ‘Butterfly’ mainly because their fans were not there and they felt empty without them.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, fans were not allowed to join and see the showcase. Cosmic Girls had to proceed with the showcase without any fans present.
Cosmic Girls just released their latest album ‘Neverland’ with the title track ‘Butterfly’ on June 8.
