BLACKPINK's pre-released track 'Pink Venom' from their second full album has surpassed 700 million views on YouTube.

According to YG Entertainment on August 4, BLACKPINK's 'Pink Venom' music video reached over 700 million views on YouTube at around 12:41 PM that day. This is a remarkable achievement coming roughly 350 days after the video was released on August 19th last year.

The music video set a record within the first 24 hours of release by achieving 90.4 million views on YouTube, the highest ever for a female artist. Moreover, it set the fastest record for a K-pop girl group to reach 100 million views in just 29 hours and 35 minutes.

'Pink Venom' is a hip-hop genre song that highlights the unique charisma of BLACKPINK. The intro features a combination of a strong beat and traditional Korean instrument sounds, on top of which are layered powerful, agile rap lines and lethal vocals that maximize each member's charm.

'Pink Venom', which topped the iTunes charts in 81 countries upon release, has set various records, including two consecutive weeks at No.1 on the Billboard Global 200 and three consecutive weeks at No.1 on the Billboard Global chart. Furthermore, it showed off its powerful global influence by ranking 22nd on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Chart.

Currently, the number of subscribers to BLACKPINK's official YouTube channel is 90.4 million, making them not just the top K-pop artist but the number one artist globally.
