The group LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eun Chae) has set a new record on the U.S. 'Billboard 200' chart, and now they've claimed the top spot on Melon charts.

As of 8 a.m. on May 16 (KST), LE SSERAFIM's new song 'UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers)' secured the number 1 position on Melon's real-time 'Top 100' chart. The track made its debut on the chart at a personal best for the team at number 5 on the 1st and has since maintained top rankings across the 'Top 100', daily, and weekly charts, finally securing the top spot. It also held its number 1 position on the 9 a.m. chart, solidifying its ranking.

'UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers)' was the most popular song of the week on Korea's YouTube Music chart for the 15th, and also topped Korea's Spotify's latest 'Weekly Top Song' chart (compiled from May 5th to 11th). In the weekly charts of Melon, Genie, and Bugs (compiled from May 8th to 14th), it ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 3rd respectively.

Moreover, since its release on the 1st, the song has demonstrated its global popularity by entering the global 'Daily Top Songs' for two consecutive weeks (from May 1st to 14th). As of the latest data (as of May 14th) from Spotify, LE SSERAFIM's 'Monthly Listeners' (the number of listeners in the last 28 days) has increased nearly 10% in just one week, recording around 11 million.

LE SSERAFIM's popularity is also prominent on social media. Their official YouTube channel followers exceeded 3 million around 12:25 a.m. on the 15th. The channel, which features diverse original content such as 'L'universe,' 'LE SSERAFIM Meeting,' as well as their dance practice videos and performance cams-garnering attention as the 'Strongest Girl Group Performers'- has amassed over 930 million total views as of 8 a.m. today.

Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM made their debut at number 6 on the U.S. Billboard main chart, 'Billboard 200' (for the week of May 20), with their first full album 'UNFORGIVEN.' This marks the fastest entry into the 'Top 10' of the 'Billboard 200' in K-pop girl group history.
