The upcoming episode of "Dr. Romantic 3" is set to turn up the heat as Lee Shin Young's and Kim Min Jae's characters find themselves in a heated confrontation. The popular weekend K-drama, starring Lee Sung Kyung, Ahn Hyo Seop, and Han Suk Kyu, shifts its focus onto the supporting cast, particularly the staff at Doldam Hospital.

With the opening of the new trauma center looming and Kim Sa Bu being sidelined, tensions rise among the senior staff as they find it increasingly challenging to work with the new doctors, particularly Jang Dong Hwa, a third-year general surgeon major.

In the fifth episode of "Dr. Romantic 3," viewers will see a clash between rookie doctor Jang Dong Hwa, played by Lee Shin Young, and Nurse Park Eun Tak, portrayed by Kim Min Jae. Lee's character works under Seo Woo Jin, played by Ahn Hyo Seop. The recently released still cuts from SBS for the upcoming episode hint at the upcoming face-off between the two characters.

Nurse Park Eun Tak is a longtime employee of Doldam Hospital, known for his strong sense of responsibility. In contrast, Jang Dong Hwa's immature attitude towards his work creates friction. The new teaser featuring these characters has fans eager to see how their encounter unfolds.

This confrontation isn't the first time Jang Dong Hwa has found himself at odds with a colleague. Previously, he had a heated argument with Seo Woo Jin following an emergency involving a national ski athlete. After that incident, Kim Sa Bu was furious with Jang Dong Hwa, questioning his motivations for becoming a doctor.

Three years after the previous season, "Dr. Romantic 3" sees the return of iconic doctor Kim Sa Bu, who embarks on a new mission to establish a trauma center. Alongside him are cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Cha Eun Jae and general surgeon Seo Woo Jin, as well as other key members of the medical team.

The third installment also introduces a new antagonist, Dr. Cha Jin Man, played by Lee Kyung Young. As the medical K-drama continues to dominate its time slot, viewers can catch the next episode featuring the Doldam family on May 12 on SBS and Disney+ for international audiences.

In addition to "Dr. Romantic 3," Lee Shin Young has appeared in several notable K-dramas, including "Crash Landing on You," "Bite Sisters," and "Rookie Cops."
