Broadcaster and model Seo Jeong-hee is set to make a surprise appearance on 'Oh Eun-young's Golden Counseling Center.'

According to a Star News report on May 4, Seo Jeong-hee will appear on Channel A's variety program 'Oh Eun-young's Golden Counseling Center,' scheduled to air on May 12th. Seo Jeong-hee, the ex-wife of comedian Seo Se-won, who suddenly passed away on April 20th, participated in the recording of 'Oh Eun-young's Golden Counseling Center' before his death. Seo's mother, Jang Bok-suk, also joined the recording.

'Oh Eun-young's Golden Counseling Center' is a mental care program hosted by psychiatrist Oh Eun-young, who helps guests work through various concerns. The show has gained attention for featuring stars' deep-seated worries and Oh Eun-young's clear solutions as a "national mentor."

Seo Jeong-hee is a star who gained fame in the commercial world during the 1980s with her stunning beauty and charm. In 1983, she married Seo Se-won and had a daughter, Seo Dong-ju, and a son, Seo Dong-cheon.

They were once known as a representative celebrity couple, but Seo Se-won was sentenced to six months in prison with a two-year probation for assaulting Seo Jeong-hee in 2014, leading to their divorce the following year.

After the divorce, Seo Jeong-hee became familiar with the public again through various variety programs, garnering attention for her ageless beauty in her 60s.

In January, she appeared on KBS 2TV's variety program 'Walk Into Insanity,' revealing her trip to Taiwan with her mother Jang Bok-suk and daughter Seo Dong-ju. Although diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in April last year and undergoing cancer treatment at the time, she brought hope to viewers with her bright energy.

Upon hearing the news of Seo Se-won's death, Seo Jeong-hee expressed disbelief and sadness. She previously told Star News, "I prayed every morning for Seo Se-won to live well" and "I wish it was fake news." Daughter Seo Dong-ju, who had cut ties with her father after her parents' divorce, served as the chief mourner at his funeral.

The recording of 'Oh Eun-young's Golden Counseling Center' featuring Seo Jeong-hee was filmed before Seo Se-won's death, and the production team reportedly struggled to decide on the broadcast timing. After discussions, they decided to air the episode on May 12th. All eyes are on what stories Seo Jeong-hee, who has experienced divorce, cancer, and other ups and downs, will share on 'Oh Eun-young's Golden Counseling Center.'
