Kim Soo Hyun Turns Down Netflix Thriller Series Offer
Kim Soo Hyun officially turned down a casting call for a Netflix thriller drama project, his managing label confirmed.
On January 4 Monday, Kim Soo Hyun's managing label Gold Medalist Entertainment officially announced that he turned down the casting offer for the upcoming Netflix original series, 'Finger.' Kim Soo Hyun has been offered to portray a role in the project last November, as reported by Soompi.
Kim Soo Hyun is supposed to portray a famous interior designer and a sociopathic murderer. 'Finger' is an original Netflix series directed by Jung Ji Woo, who also worked on films, 'Tune in for Love,' 'Heart Blackened,' and 'Eungyo.'
Moreover, Gold Medalist Entertainment shared confirmed that Kim Soo Hyun is presently reviewing all proposed projects for his next film. With Kim Soo Hyun's last project with 'It's Okay To Not Be Okay,' which the fans tuned to every episode, many wonder what genre he will appear in next.
Kim Soo Hyun's Career
Kim Soo Hyun portrayed various iconic roles since his debut in the film industry, and appeared in 2011's Dream High, 'Moon Embracing the Sun (2012)' My Love from the Star (2013,) 'The Producers (2015), The Thieves (2012), Secretly Greatly (2013) and Real (2017). Kim Soo Hyun recently ended his project with 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay,' as Moon Gang-Tae with co-star Seo Yea-Jo as Moon-young.
The film was a successful Netflix hit as it tells the tale of a lingering romance between a psychiatric ward caretaker who lacks time to look for love and a children's book author who does not know the feeling of love. Fans gushed over the two pairs as the film ended happily with both the leads' love and character development.
