FIFTY FIFTY's Keena to Attend Billboard Music Awards in LA
Member Keena of the girl group FIFTY FIFTY will be flying to Los Angeles to attend the "2023 Billboard Music Awards" (2023 BBMAs). The group's agency, Attrakt, announced on November 13 that Keena will be departing for LA on the 16th for the awards ceremony scheduled for November 19.
FIFTY FIFTY has been nominated in the Top Duo/Group category and the Top Global K-Pop Song category at the 2023 BBMAs, set to take place in Las Vegas.
According to the agency, Keena will be attending a private party on the 18th ahead of the award ceremony, which is being conducted virtually. This event provides an opportunity for Kina to build relationships with global music industry professionals. Kim Se-hwang, COO of Attrakt USA, is also expected to attend.
FIFTY FIFTY made an impressive entry into the music scene with their debut single "The Beginning: Cupid". The song "Cupid" entered the "Billboard Hot 100" at the 100th position just 130 days after its release on February 24, marking the fastest Billboard Hot 100 entry for a K-pop idol group's debut. The song subsequently climbed to a peak position of 17th and remained on the chart for 25 weeks, setting a record for the longest-charting K-pop girl group song.
