Actor Seong-hoon Claps Back at Malicious Rumors Related To Park Na-rae: Promises Legal Action to Protect Family
Actor Seong-hoon has pulled no punches in responding to malicious rumors related to comedian Park Na-rae.
On May 15, Seong-hoon's agency, Stallion Entertainment, released an official statement saying, "We would like to inform that the rumors related to Seong-hoon, which are currently spreading on some online communities and social media, are clearly false. Our agency cannot overlook the current situation where the honor of our affiliated actor Seong-hoon is being tarnished, and not only the parties involved but also their families are suffering. We plan to take strong legal action."
The agency further stated, "We are currently monitoring and tracking the IPs of those who create 'hearsay' rumors as if they were facts, and spread them indiscriminately. We will respond firmly without any leniency or agreement. Even after this time, our agency will hold serious legal responsibility for all false facts posted and distributed online without any fact-checking process. We will do our best to protect our affiliated artists."
Earlier that day, rumors containing sexual content about Park Na-rae and Seong-hoon spread quickly online. The content of the rumor is somewhat shocking. The rumor includes content that could be sexual harassment for Park Na-rae and Seong-hoon, leaving those who encounter the rumor appalled. In response, Seong-hoon's agency is moving forward with legal action.
