Han Sun Hwa to Star Alongside Ji Chang Wook in the Upcoming Drama “Convenience Store Saet Byul”
The SBS upcoming drama "Convenience Store Saet Byul" has added an additional member on its casting list, and everybody is excited about it!
Previously, it was declared that the actors Ji Chang Wook and Kim Yoo Jung would be the lead stars in the SBS upcoming drama. Later on, the LABOUM member Solbin joined in the cast. Now, these three stars will be joined by the talented actress Han Sun Hwa!
Han Sun Hwa is a famous Korean singer and actress. She was formerly a member of the South Korean girl group "Secret." In 2004, she made her television debut and joined the cast of SBS' Superstar Survival as a finalist. After five years, she became a regular cast on the variety show called Invincible Youth.
Aside from musical talents, she also ventured into acting and debuted in the small screen with her 2010 drama entitled "More Charming By The Day." Sun Hwa also has a lot of dramas in which she played supporting roles, namely "Ad Genius Lee Tae-baek," "God's Gift - 14 Days," and "Marriage, Not Dating."
This year, the actress has been confirmed to play a role in "Convenience Store Saet Byul." The series, which is a popular webtoon of the same title, is about a convenience store owner Choi Dae Hyun who is played by Ji Chang Wook and a part-time employee named Jung Saet Byul, portrayed by Kim Yoo Jung.
The talented actress Han Sun Hwa will play Yoo Yeon Joo's character, Choi Dae Hyun's girlfriend. It is undeniable that Han Sun Hwa is not a stranger to acting since she has already participated in a lot of drama series as mentioned above.
Here is a brief synopsis of "Convenience Store Saet Byul:"
One day Choi Dae Hyun runs into a group of high school student, all of them are female including Jung Saet Byeol. These group of high school girls looks like they are troublemakers. Then, Saet Byeol asks Choi Dae Hyun a favor in which to run an errand for them. It is to purchase cigarettes from a convenience store. Without a doubt, Choi Dae Hyun bought the cigarettes for them, and Saet Byeol gets his cellphone number, but he never gets a ring from her.
Fast forward; four years had passed and now Dae Hyun's 33 years old. He manages a small convenience store after he resigned from his job at a big company.He's also hiring for a part-time worker to work the night shift at his convenience store, and then Saet Byeol applied as the part-time worker in his convenience store and started to work there. She is no longer the past troublemaker like she was in her high school. Jung Saet Byeol is renewed and is now a university student and guided by her strong morals.
"Convenience Store Saet Byul" is currently set to broadcast sometime in June of this year.
