Moon Ga Young In Talks To Star With Cha Eun Woo For Upcoming Drama 'True Beauty'
Moon Ga Young and Cha Eun Woo may possibly be starring together in one drama!
On June 23, various media outlets reported that Moon Ga Young was offered the role of the female lead for the upcoming webtoon adaptation drama ‘True Beauty.’
In response to the report, her agency KeyEast Entertainment commented, “Moon Ga Young received an offer to star in the new tvN drama ‘True Beauty’ and is positively considering the offer.”
Previously, the “face genius”, Cha Eun Woo, was reported to have accepted the offer of the main lead for the webtoon adaptation.
'True Beauty' revolves around the story of a high school girl who can't stand the idea of being seen without makeup and a man who's the only one who has seen her bare face.
Cha Eun Woo will playing the role of Lee Soo Ho, who's not only a top student but catches the attention of all the girls around him. Despite his popularity, Lee So Ho has a shy side, turning bright red when he gets embarrassed and saying things he regrets.
If Moon Ga Young accepts the offer, she will be playing the role of Lim Joo Kyung. Born between an intelligent but average-looking mother and a not-so-intelligent but drop-dead-handsome father, Joo Kyung's siblings ended up with the good genes from both parents, while she ended up with all of the bad ones, Allkpop reported.
The followers of the webtoon totally approved of Cha Eun Woo as the male lead, seeing that he actually resembles the male lead in the webtoon. However, some of the fans of the actor are skeptical since his upcoming role is similar to his previous one in the hit drama ‘My ID Is A Gangnam Beauty’ in 2018.
Meanwhile, many are anticipating Moon Ga Young’s confirmation, hoping that she will accept the offered role. She previously starred in the drama ‘Find Me in Your Memory’ this year where she received favorable reviews.
