Minji has announced her departure from Busters.

On March 19, Minji shared through her personal social media account, "About a month ago, I left the Busters group under Marbling Entertainment."

She continued, "Over the past five years, I've built many experiences and memories while being part of Busters. I first met my fans when I was just 15 years old, and thanks to all of you, I was able to learn and grow so much." She added, "Every day until now has been truly happy for me, and I want to say that my feelings toward you have always been sincere. Thank you for giving me happy memories, good times, and precious moments."

Minji also stated, "I will definitely return in front of you as a better artist, so please don't forget me," adding, "Please continue to show me lots of love, support, and encouragement in the future."

Born in 2006, Minji made her debut in 2020 with Busters' third single album Paeonia.

Hello, fans. This is Minji!

Spring is starting to arrive-how have you all been doing?! Even though spring is on its way, the mornings and nights are still chilly, so please dress warmly!

I think many of you might be surprised and caught off guard by this sudden news. I should have written this message and delivered my news to you sooner, so I want to start by apologizing for sharing it so late.

About a month ago, I left the Busters group under Marbling Entertainment. During my roughly five years with Busters, I built up many experiences and cherished memories! I first met my fans when I was just 15 and quite young, but because of you, I learned and grew a lot! The times we laughed and cried together were so precious, and I will always remember them dearly! Every single day until now has truly been happy for me, and I wanted to tell you that my feelings for you have always been genuine! Thank you so much for giving me happy memories, beautiful moments, and such good times! And above all, thank you for always standing by me and cheering me on with so much strength! You are always in my heart! And... I really, really, really miss you all...!! I've been thinking hard about how to deliver this message, and I've finally been able to organize my thoughts and share them like this.
