Kim Soo-hyun's Agency Reaches Out to Kim Sae-ron’s Mother: 'Please Contact Us for the Sake of Her Honor'
Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, has reached out to the mother of the late actress Kim Sae-ron in an effort to resolve ongoing disputes surrounding the controversy.
On March 15, Gold Medalist released an official statement addressing the latest developments. "The photos released on March 14 by the YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute (GaSeYeon) were taken on December 14, 2019. There is no reason for private photos of Kim Soo-hyun and the late Kim Sae-ron to be shared recklessly. We ask that the dissemination of personal images be stopped immediately," the agency stated.
The agency also acknowledged the statement made by Kim Sae-ron's mother on GaSeYeon's latest broadcast. "We recognize the indescribable pain Kim Sae-ron's mother is going through after losing her daughter. We understand that no words can truly comfort her. We deeply mourn the suffering Kim Sae-ron endured and express our sincere condolences," Gold Medalist wrote.
Expressing sympathy toward Kim Sae-ron's mother's concerns about the media's handling of the case, the agency added, "We fully empathize with her criticisms of the way the media has covered this issue. However, as we have already stated in previous statements, Kim Soo-hyun has also suffered significant harm due to GaSeYeon's reporting."
Gold Medalist went on to clarify that while they respect the mother's position, there are certain claims they do not agree with. "Some of the statements made by Kim Sae-ron's mother differ from our understanding of the situation. Additionally, we believe there are facts she may not yet be aware of. Publicly debating these issues would not be appropriate, as she is only seeking to restore her daughter's honor. It would not be right for Kim Sae-ron or her mother," the statement continued.
In an effort to open a dialogue, the agency proposed a private meeting. "Our executives would like to meet with her personally and provide a full explanation. We hope she can reach out to us at any time, and we will welcome her to our office for a discussion."

Hello, this is Gold Medalist.
We are issuing this statement in response to the March 14 broadcast by Garo Sero Institute (GaSeYeon).
The photos released by GaSeYeon were taken on December 14, 2019. There is no reason for private photos of Kim Soo-hyun and the late Kim Sae-ron to be shared recklessly. We ask that the dissemination of personal images be stopped immediately.
We have also reviewed the statement made by Kim Sae-ron's mother during the broadcast. We recognize the indescribable pain she is going through after losing her daughter, and we understand that no words can truly comfort her. We deeply mourn the suffering Kim Sae-ron endured and express our sincere condolences.
We fully empathize with her criticisms of the way the media has covered this issue. However, as we have already stated in previous statements, Kim Soo-hyun has also suffered significant harm due to GaSeYeon's reporting.
That being said, some of the statements made by Kim Sae-ron's mother differ from our understanding of the situation. Additionally, we believe there are facts she may not yet be aware of. Publicly debating these issues would not be appropriate, as she is only seeking to restore her daughter's honor. It would not be right for Kim Sae-ron or her mother.
Our executives would like to meet with her personally and provide a full explanation. We hope she can reach out to us at any time, and we will welcome her to our office for a discussion.
